The Eduardo Arce Quartet presents their "Live at The Bunker" Concert Series at The Bunker in Southern Park Mall in Boardman every Thursday at 6pm through September 3. These concerts will feature songs by Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, and Herbie Hancock, standards from the Great American Songbook, and original arrangements of jazz classics. Admission is free.

Youngstown State University's History Department presents a speaker series titled "History in the Headlines" this fall. On Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 pm at the Youngstown Historical Center for Industry and Labor, Vicki Vicars of Thrive Mahoning Valley will discuss her work with immigrant communities in the Youngstown-Warren region. All are welcome to attend.

Lit Youngstown's First Wednesday Reader Series presents Pittsburgh poets Diane Kerr and Nancy Krygowski Wednesday, September 2 at 7:00pm at the Westside Bowl, 2617 Mahoning Ave cohosted by David Simonelli. An open mic will follow the featured poets. and this reading will be downstairs in the Trophy Room, accessible only by stairs. Meagan Albani will provide ASL interpretation.
