Downtown Youngstown will come alive on Friday, September 5 for a special First Fridays event: Past, Present, and Future, honoring the 150th anniversary of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society (MVHS). This milestone celebration invites the community to reflect on the region’s rich history, explore its creative present, and envision its bold future through an evening of live music, local storytelling, and engaging activities.

The event takes place from 4:00 to 8:00 PM across West Federal Street, Vindicator Square, and surrounding locations, with open houses, walking tours, a vendor market, historic displays, and community pop-ups. More information at https://firstfridaysyoungstown.org/
