Buhl Park presents Gardening Class - Toxic Plants ,on Wednesday, June 4th from 6 - 7:30 pm at Buhl Park in Hermitage. Learn how to identify and remove plants that are harmful to people and pets. Moraine State Park presents the program Venomous Snakes of PA, on Thursday June 12th, 6-7:30 pm, at the McDanels Launch Area at Moraine State Park. Lit Youngstown and Youngstown Area Community Concert Band present: Poems Inspired by Broadway Classics, on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:00 pm, at the Austintown Park. This outdoor concert will feature music from West Side Story, Oklahoma, Annie, Lion King, Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, My Fair Lady, and Sound of Music. Six poems inspired by the music will be read throughout the evening. The concert is free but you will need to bring your own lawn chair. More information at lityoungstown.org

Ursuline Sisters Mission's 15th Guided Labyrinth Walk season continues onThursday, June 18, at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited to join in this free event. This year's theme is Pilgrims of Hope, part of the 2025 Jubilee Year. Walks are led either by an Ursuline Sister or an Ursuline Associate. There is more information at ursulinesistersmission.org.
Walks in July, Aug. and Sept. are on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. The final walk is Sun., Oct. 19 at 2pm.

The Mercer Community Band presents the concert It's Showtime!, on Friday, June 20 at the Mercer County Courthouse Square. Duo Max and Jane open the evening at 5:30 pm, and the band takes the stage at 7:00 pm. The band will feature vocal soloist Kali Davies-Anderson and trumpet soloist Ron Carson. The concert is free, but you will need to bring your own lawn chair.
In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the Mercer High School Auditorium.

The Winona Area Historical Society presents the 12th Annual Winona Strawberry Festival, on Sunday, June 22nd, 11:30 am - 3:00 pm, at 32114 Winona Road, in Hanoverton. This community gathering features great food, demonstrations of traditional home-crafts and the scutching of flax, music, and viewing of two Quaker Meeting houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
A live sale by Kiko Auctions at 2:00 pm includes items donated by local businesses and community members for the benefit of the Winona Area Historical Society, sponsor of the event on its grounds at the corner of Winona Road and Cameron Street in Winona, OH (GPS address: 32114 Winona Rd., Hanoverton, OH 44423).
