The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band presents the concert, "Dream of Flight" on Friday August 7 at 7:00 pm on the Mercer County Courthouse Square. The Basement Band will open the evening at 5:30. All are welcome to attend.

Lit Youngstown presents a writing through grief workshop series with writer and teacher Sydney Stalnecker at the News Castle Public Library on Saturdays from 10-11am from June 20-August 8. These sessions will include group poetry readings, peer-led discussion, thought-provoking prompts, and the opportunity for participants to share work. Registration is required. The Eduardo Arce Quartet presents their "Live at The Bunker" Concert Series at The Bunker in Southern Park Mall in Boardman every Thursday at 6pm through September 3. These concerts will feature songs by Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, and Herbie Hancock, standards from the Great American Songbook, and original arrangements of jazz classics. Admission is free.

The Butler Institute of American Art presents "Family Days' every third Sunday through April at 1:30pm. Join the Butler's docents, artists, and art educators, as they lead you on a learning journey through the museum with tours, demonstrations, scavenger hunts, and art-making. The Butler Institute of American Art presents Senior Art & Learn, the third Thursday of every month, through November. This free event is for adults 55+ who are interested in learning more about the art in our museum.
