The city of Youngstown will have fireworks in Wean Park on New Year's Eve, beginning at 10:00 pm. There will be free parking at the Covelli Centre.

The Butler Institute of American Art presents the 86th Area Artist Annual this winter. This juried exhibition includes selected original artworks in all media created and submitted by artists residing within a 75-mile radius of the Butler. An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held Sunday, January 4th from 1:00 -3:00 pm, with award presentation at 2:00 pm. More information is available at "Butler Art dot com."
