From Barbara Krauss -- A Favorite Recipe from the Sicily Tour

On one sunny day of our tour, the WYSU travelers were invited to share an afternoon meal on a huge rustic estate called Casa Bianca, located in a fertile and picturesque part of Sicily. Casa Bianca is owned and run by a Sicilian contessa. The Contessa graciously prepared a fabulous feast for us, showcasing many delectable items grown on her own land. The meal was magnificent!

Sicily it is for WYSU Group!

Barbara Krauss and a busload of travelers are in Sicily right now, on a trip designed and led by Go Ahead Tours of Boston. After a few nights in Palermo, they'll be seeing all the sites, including Mount Etna, and the highest active volcano in Europe, the Valley of the Temples of Agregento, the stone streets of Erice, and much more.

Concert and VIP Event to Benefit Canton Symphony

For one very special night,  pianist Jim Brickman will return to Canton for a benefit performance with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. A reception follows the concert with hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, and a meet & greet with Mr. Brickman.

Opera Fundraiser is May 19 at Stambaugh

WYSU Spring Drive aims for 1100 Pledges

The on-air portion of our drive is more than half over! We are hoping to get 1100 pledges between now and Saturday, April 15 at noon.  We are calling it our “38-Hour Campaign” because that is the number of hours we are actively fundraising on the air.

At WYSU, we do this twice a year, because individual listener support is and always has been important!
