The Youngstown Branch of the American Association of University Women presents the program, “Women in Pants!?: Bicycles, Bloomers, and the New Woman of the 1890s,” on Saturday, February 7, from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the United Way Volunteer Resource Center, at 8133 Market Street, Boardman. Chiara Power, Collections Manager of the Massillon Museum will discuss how the popularity of the bicycle and the new need for the bloomer suite for women increased mobility given to women and incited concerns around morality and health. This event is free and open to the public.
The Ward Beecher Planetarium presents the program, "Legends: Orion" on every Saturday at 2:00pm from January 31 through February 21. Aesop the owl continues his journey in a light-hearted adventure as you look at the Greek mythology associated with some of our constellations. This includes stories behind Orion the hunter, and Scorpio the scorpion! All planetarium shows are free with seating being first come, first served.

The Butler Institute of American Art presents Senior Art & Learn, the third Thursday of every month, through November. This free event is for adults 55+ who are interested in learning more about the art in our museum. Seniors will be led on a docent-guided tour of a featured exhibition that encourages “slow looking” and engagement. Seating available. More information at butlerart.com.
