The Trumbull New Theater presents the show "Storm Warning" weekends from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 22. with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. The theater is located at 5883 Youngstown Warren Rd in Niles. Set in cottage country in 1963, Jack Forrester, a damaged World War II vet, has retreated from life. The Youngstown Playhouse presents the show "The Lyons" weekends from Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 29 with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 2:30pm. "The Lyons" tells the story of Ben Lyons, a dying man whose final days bring his wife Rita and their grown children together, causing them to confront their fears of isolation, closeness, and being alone. as they say goodbyes. The YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium presents the program, "Passport to the Universe" Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm through Saturday, February 28th. Fly beneath the rings of Saturn, into the heart of the Orion Nebula, and out into the vastness of space to experience stunning cosmic destinations as never before possible. All planetarium shows are free with seating being first come, first served.

The Stambaugh Chorus invites all local singers to join its Spring 2026 season, featuring powerful choral music connected to the national Sing Democracy 250 initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. This nationwide project includes newly commissioned works that celebrate democracy, unity, and the American spirit. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, January 6, and will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in Bliss Hall, on the YSU campus. YSU's Thomas Colloquium presents Alex Rodriguez, Chairman and CEO of A-Rod Corp, MLB All-Star and World Series Champion, Co-Chairman of the MN Timberwolves and Lynx presents Building a Legacy of Leadership: Discipline, Reinvention, and the Power of Enterprise on Thursday March 26, at 7:00pm at Stambaugh Auditorium on 5th Ave in Youngstown.
