The Butler Institute of American Art presents an exhibition of works by acclaimed Cuban American artist Julio Larraz, opening September 14 and running through November 23 in the MacIntosh Gallery. This exhibition is in conjunction with National Hispanic Heritage Month. Larraz’s oil paintings are said to inhabit a realm where reality and imagination converge. His compositions often weave together satirical social commentary, poetic symbolism and art-historical allusions. More information at butlerart.com
Ursuline Sisters Mission's 15th Guided Labyrinth Walk season continues on Thursday, July 17, at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited to join in this free event. This year's theme is Pilgrims of Hope, part of the 2025 Jubilee Year. Walks are led either by an Ursuline Sister or an Ursuline Associate. There is more information at ursulinesistersmission.org.
Walks in July, Aug. and Sept. are on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. The final walk is Sun., Oct. 19 at 2pm.

The Youngstown Historical Center for Industry and Labor presents a photography exhibition by Richard Hahn titled Grit/Glow, opening Thursday, July 10, and on display through February. Grit/Glow juxtaposes the warmth of orange skies with the stark realities of industry, illustrating the paradox of beauty and hardship. The museum is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Saturdays from Noon to 4:00 pm.

YSU University Theatre presents Be More Chill, weekends from Friday, November 11th through Sunday, November 23rd, with evening performances at 7:30 pm, and the Sunday matinee at 2 pm, at the Spotlight Theater in Bliss Hall, on the YSU campus. Be More Chill is a musical based on Ned Vizzini’s novel of the same name. Tickets at ysu.tix.com.
