YSU presents the 12th annual Valerie Waksmunski-Starr Memorial Conference on the Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10 at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor, 151 W. Wood St., and Saturday, April 11 events virtually. Students and academic professionals will present original research on a variety of topics, including Dr. Finkelman's key-note speech, "Native American Rights, Race, Slavery, and Religious Liberty: The Progressive Visions of the Northwest Ordinance." All are free and open to the public.
