Shenango River Watchers: Shenango River Lake's Eagle Fest
The Army Corps. of Engineers and the Shenango River Watchers present the Shenango River Lake's Eagle Fest, on Saturday, January 11, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The Eagle Fest is a free public event where you can track and document eagle activity at Shenango Lake. More information available from the Shenango’s Ranger Station at (724) 646-1124.
The PA Game Commission will be a special presenter first thing in the morning, followed by information about the lake and survey results from the day before.
Whether you are an avid bird watcher or would like to simply catch sight of a bald eagle, this is the place to do so!
Visitors will be encouraged to grab a map and take a self-guided tour of the reservoir to seek out more sightings of this iconic raptor.
