AAUW, the American Association of University Women, invites the public to a talk on Mercy Health Resource Mothers and Fatherhood Support Program, on Tuesday, May 7th, at 5:30 pm, at the Main Branch of the Mahoning County Public Library, in Room 205. Deatrice Traylor and several staff from Mercy Health Resource Mothers and Fatherhood Support Program will explain their various programs.

The home visiting programs provide support, guidance, and resource to new and expectant moms and dads in Mahoning and Trumbull County. The guest presenters will also discuss information about the infant mortality rate in Mahoning County. The Program goal is to improve and enhance family life by providing health related information and resources to expectant parents before, during and after birth to promote healthier babies. The Fatherhood Support program offers one on one support to new and expectant fathers, as well as fathers looking to be better dads. Mercy Health Centering Pregnancy program offers group prenatal care with health education in a safe and comfortable setting.
