The Stambaugh Chorus invites all local singers to join its Spring 2026 season, featuring powerful choral music connected to the national Sing Democracy 250 initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. This nationwide project includes newly commissioned works that celebrate democracy, unity, and the American spirit. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, January 6, and will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in Bliss Hall, on the YSU campus. The Butler Institute of American Art presents Senior Art & Learn, the third Thursday of every month, through November. This free event is for adults 55+ who are interested in learning more about the art in our museum. Seniors will be led on a docent-guided tour of a featured exhibition that encourages “slow looking” and engagement. Seating available. More information at butlerart.com.

Ursuline Sisters Mission's 15th Guided Labyrinth Walk season continues on Thursday, July 17, at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited to join in this free event. This year's theme is Pilgrims of Hope, part of the 2025 Jubilee Year. Walks are led either by an Ursuline Sister or an Ursuline Associate. There is more information at ursulinesistersmission.org.

Walks in July, Aug. and Sept. are on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. The final walk is Sun., Oct. 19 at 2pm.
