Youngstown Press Club: World Press Freedom Day
The Youngstown Press Club will observe World Press Freedom Day on Sunday, May 3 by reading the names of 129 journalists killed last year while practicing their profession at noon at the Butler Institute of American Art. The number of journalists killed in 2025 was the highest since the Committee to Protect Journalists began tracking these numbers in 1992.The event is free and open to the public.
