Experience the thrill of hand-feeding wild chickadees at Bird in Hand and also see lots of cool critters up close inside the Amazing Garden Plant Science Center. Enjoy the fresh winter air as you search for scavenger hunt clues on the woodland trails and have fun playing on the 2-acre nature playground (weather permitting).

Celebrate the beauty of the Christmas season at Beech Creek Gardens! The botanical garden has been transformed into a natural wonderland filled with unique areas to explore and things to learn about the wonders of winter nature.There are hands-on activities for all ages! Embrace the holiday spirit with this one-of-a-kind experience at Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve in Alliance, Saturday through Wednesday,December 26-30, from 5-9 pm. To keep our guests safe, attendance capacity is limited, masks are required while inside faculties, and social distancing is required.

CycWard Bike Club: Glow the YO! 2020

CycWard Bike Club is hosting 'Glow the YO!' on Saturday, October 17th beginning at 6:30 pm, at Wean Park near the Covelli Center parking lot. Glow the YO! is a free community night ride bringing together Valley residents, city leadership and anyone who enjoys riding their bike. The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Film Festival presents the documentary Picture of His Life, on Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 pm, at the Twin Skyway Drive-In. World renowned wildlife photographer Amos Nachoum has one final photographic dream remaining - to photograph a polar bear underwater. As his journey unfolds, so does an intimate and painful story of dedication, sacrifice, and personal redemption.  Your $25 ticket provides online access for a 48 hour window to watch the virtual films, as well as a ticket to each of the films showing at the Skyway Drive In.

Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve presents Nature Explorers Spring Day Camp, Wednesday, March 24 - Friday, March 26, 9:30 am–3 pm each day, at Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve, in Alliance.
