Our Lady of Mt. Carmel: 17th Annual Italian Festival

The 17th Annual Italian Festival at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Youngstown scheduled for Thursday,July 23 - Sunday, July 26 on the parish grounds. Hours are 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm on Sunday. There will be food, an Italian auction, craft vendors, a dunk tank with popular locals, dancing, kids games, and much more.

Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens: Summer Garden Party

The Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens present the Annual Summer Garden Party on Friday, July 27th, at The Gardens in Mill Creek Park. The outdoor evening of music, dinner and dancing starts at 6:00. Reservations at FriendsOfFellows.org.

 

 

Harvey S. Firestone Park Festival of the Arts

The Harvey S. Firestone Festival of the Arts is a juried event held at Firestone park in Columbiana on Saturday, August 1, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. This event includes handmade arts and crafts, antique vendors, a Farmer's Market, a children's area, an antique and vintage tractor display, with local musical entertainment and food concessions offered throughout the day. Admission is free.

Beaver Creek State Park Car Show & Pancake Breakfast

The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park present the Beaver Creek State Park Car Show & Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, July 19. The Car Show is from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm at Pioneer Village in the Park. McD's Sock Run

Animal Charity: Rover Race

Animal Charity of Ohio is presenting the "Rover Race" 3K walk and 5K fun run in Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, at the Wick Recreation Area on Saturday, October 3rd, at 9:00 AM. St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church: Greek Summerfest

The St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church annual Greek Summerfest takes place on Thursday, July 9, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; Friday, July 10 & Saturday, July 11, 11:00 am - 10:00 pm; and Sunday, July 12, Noon - 6:00 pm. The Greek Summerfest features Greek music, and lamb and chicken dinners all four days, fish dinners on Friday only, and much more.

Youngstown Downtown JazzFest

The Downtown JazzFest in downtown Youngstown features saxophonist Paul Taylor on Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Covelli Centre Box Office, or at Giant Eagle Ticketmaster Outlets - $8 in advance and $10 day of show. The show will be held rain or shine.

City of Ashtabula: Big Bands on the Beach Summer Concert: Ashtabula County Swing Band

The City of Ashtabula presents Big Bands on the Beach Summer Concert Series in Ashtabula featuring the Ashtabula County Swing Band performing tunes from the 1930s and '40s on Sunday, July 7, 4:00 - 6:00 pm in a free concert at Walnut Beach. Concessions and restrooms are available.

The Amazing History Race: Mahoning Valley

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s Young Leaders Advisory Board presents "The Amazing History Race" on Friday, June 26th at 5:00 PM. The race begins at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal Street in Downtown Youngstown. The final clue will lead to a party at secret location with snacks and beverages included.
