Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association: Amateur Radio Field Day

In cooperation with Mill Creek MetroParks, Radio operators from the Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association will spend the weekend of June 23rd and 24th at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, on Route 46 across from the Canfield Fair Grounds,  demonstrating Emergency Communications Skills to public for a full 24 hours, Noon Saturday until 2 p.m.  More information at mvara.org.

Austintown Farmers Market: Opening Day

Austintown Farmers' Market Opening Day is Monday, June 11, 5-8 pm, at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.  There will be free yoga, healthy cooking demo, food, activities, artisan goods, produce, baked goods, and over 30 vendors. 

 

Mahoning Valley Historical Society: Hands-On-History Open House

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting Hands-On-History Open House, free afternoons of family fun! Join education staff on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for hands-on activities, games, crafts, dress-up clothing and more!  Each week will feature a different theme with various activities. Simply Slavic Festival - Youngstown

The Simply Slavic Festival will be held on Federal Plaza East in downtown Youngstown, Friday, June 15, from 7-10 pm, along with Party On the Plaza; and Saturday, noon - midnight. The Northside Leadership Conference presents Deutschtown Music Festival, Pittsburgh’s premier summer music festival, on the North Side, on Friday, July 13th and Saturday, Juky 14th. The Deutschtown Music Festival is a FREE two-day indoor/outdoor event featuring over 300 bands, on 30 stages, with food trucks, a beer garden, children’s activities, and an artists’ market.
