Stambaugh Auditorium: OMEA District 5 Honors Band

The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) presents the District 5 Honors Band Concert on Saturday, November 19th at 1:30 pm, in the Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium, on Fifth Avenue, in Youngstown. The concert features the District 5 Middle School Honors Band. The District 5 Honors Band is comprised of outstanding band students in grades 7-12 from Ashtabula, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties. Stambaugh Auditorium: Stambaugh Youth Concert Band

Stambaugh Auditorium presents the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band as it celebrates its 21st year with their annual fall concert on Tuesday, November 15th at 7:30 pm in the Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium, on Fifth Avenue, in Youngstown. The repertoire will feature works by Randall Standridge, the U.S. Marine Band, Nicole Piunno (PEW-no), and Steven Reineke (RYE-na-kee). 

DeYor Performing Arts Center: The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine: Swan Lake

The DeYor Performing Arts Center presents the State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake Ballet, on Sunday, November 13th, at 6 pm, at Powers Auditorium in The DeYor Performing Arts Center, in downtown Youngstown. Tickets at deyorpac.org.

The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) presents the District 5 Honors Choir Concert on Saturday, October 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium. Canton Symphony Orchestra: Tchaikovsky and Price

The Canton Symphony continus its 85th season on Sunday, October 30th at 7 pm in Umstattd (UM-sted) Hall with Tchaikovsky (Chi-Cough-Ski) and Price. Pianist Michelle Cann will be featured on the Florence Price's Piano Concerto in One Movement. Also on the program are works by Cesar (say zahr) Franck (frahnk), Richard (REE-card) Strauss. Youngstown Symphony Orchestra: A Journey Serene Concert

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, continuing its 20-22 20-23 season on Sunday, November 20 at 2:30 pm in Stambaugh Auditorium, on Fifth Avenue, in Youngstown. Under the direction of guest conductor Dean Buck, the YSO will perform A Journey Serene, a program that includes Libby Larsen's Deep Summer Music, Mahler's Songs of a Wayfarer, and Brahms' Symphony No. 2. Youngstown State University: YSU's Hispanic Heritage Celebration

YSU will host the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, on Saturday, October 15th from 12  to 3 pm, in the Chestnut Room of YSU's Kilcawley Center. This free, indoor festival will feature various live performances by The Labra Brothers, Abrepaso Flamenco from Cleveland, Flamenco guitarist Marija Temo, Violinists Rusbell Martinez and Erick Ramos, Guerreras de Adoración, and Azteca Guadalupana. There will be vendors, resource tables, cultural displays, and light refreshments. 

Stambaugh Auditorium: Holiday Craft Show and TubaChristmas

Stambaugh Auditorium presents its Holiday Craft Show on Sunday, November 27th, from 11 am - 5 pm, as crafters from Youngstown and surrounding cities display their work. the afternoon includes TubaChristmas, at 3:30 pm, in the concert hall. American Guild of Organists, Youngstown Chapter: Return of the Addams Family - A Halloween Organ Event

The Youngstown Chapter of the American Guild of Organists presents Return of the Addams Family - A Halloween Organ, on Saturday, October 29th, at 7:00 pm, at Trinity Methodist Church, 30 West Front Street, in downtown Youngstown.   This free program will feature spooky offerings by Mahoning Valley keyboard artists.  Halloween costumes are recommended as there will be a Costume Parade at this event.
