Opera Western Reserve: East Meets West: Food, Flora and Arias

Opera Western Reserve presents East Meets West: Food, Flora and Arias, on Friday, October 19, 6 - 9 pm, at the SOAP. YSU LatinX & Hispanic Student Organization: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

The YSU LatinX & Hispanic Student Organization presents a Hispanic Heritage Celebration, on Saturday, October 6th, noon to 6:00 pm in the Chestnut Room of YSU's Kilcawley Center. Itwill feature music entertainment and dance performances by local and out-of-town groups, as well as cultural displays, dancing, vendors, information tables, children activities, and ethnic refreshments.

YSU Dana School of Music: Guest Artist Recital: Pianist John Mortensen

The YSU Dana School of Music presents a Guest Artist Recital by pianist John Mortensen, on Friday, September 14, at 7:30 pm, in the Bliss Recital Hall, on the YSU campus. Mortensen, from Cedarville University in Ohio, is a Steinway Artist.  He is one of the leading pianists in the revival of Classical improvisation.

 

Youngstown Symphony Orchestra: Stained Glass Concert

 Holy Family Parish in Poland is presenting the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra in a free Stained Glass Concert, on  Sunday, September 30, at 4:30 pm in the church, followed by a reception in the parish center.   The concert will include Holy Family Parish choir member and YSU Dana School of Music student, Sierra McCorvey.   

Westminster College Celebrity Series: Lonesome Traveler: The Concert

Westside Bowl: Brianna Musco Live

Brianna Musco and her band will be bringing her indie music to the Youngstown Bowl on Monday, August 20th, at 9:00 pm.  The national recording artist will be playing her originals off of The Demo, plus a few cover songs, along with road testing her new material for her upcoming EP.  The BreezeWay and The H.R.
