Dave Lalama '76 is currently Professor of Music at Hofstra University and is a founding faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music Jazz Program. He received his doctorate in music composition from New York University and is active as a clinician, arranger and performer throughout the United States.

YSU University Theatre, presenting 'Elegies [el-uh-GEES]: A Song Cycle' by William Finn. The sequence of songs in 'Elegies' addresses memory, loss, and life’s fragility and joy. YSU Dana Alumni Recital Series Presents Caitlin Hedge with Dave Lynn
Opening the YSU Dana Alumni Recital Series, in collaboration with the McDonough Museum of Art, is duo Caitlin Hedge, violin, and Dave Lynn, guitar, premiering Saturday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. on the Cliffe College and McDonough YouTube channels. This is a prerecorded event. Hedge and Lynn will perform original folk songs, and traditional Irish fiddle arrangements, with some bluegrass added in. Opening the McDonough Museum of Art’s 2020 Muse Series on Sunday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m. is the Dana Piano Trio in recital in pre-recorded format on both the YSU and McDonough Museum YouTube channels.
