Music for Life: The African Children's Choir

 Music for Life presents The African Children's Choir on Friday, July 5, at 7:00 pm, at the freedon Chirch in New Middletown, Ohio.  The program features well-loved children's songs, traditional Spirituals and Gospel favorites. Concerts are free and open to all.

YSU Black History Month: Step Afrika!

YSU Black History Month presents Step Afrika!, on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:00 pm, in the Chestnut Room of YSU's Kilcawley Center. Step Afrika! was founded in 1994 as the first professional company dedicated to the tradition of "stepping." It now ranks as one of the top ten African American dance companies in the United States. 

Chrysalis Stage Advanced Performing Arts Conservatory: West Side Story

Chrysalis Stage Advanced Performing Arts Conservatory of Sharon presents Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, this weekend, at the Armory of the Arts, 49 South Sharpsville Avenue, in Sharon. Easy Street Productions: Miracle on Easy Street

Easy Street Productions presents Miracle on Easy Street, Friday, December 14 through Sunday, December 16, with evening performances at 7:30, and the Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:30, at Edward W. YSU LatinX & Hispanic Student Organization: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

The YSU LatinX & Hispanic Student Organization presents a Hispanic Heritage Celebration, on Saturday, October 6th, noon to 6:00 pm in the Chestnut Room of YSU's Kilcawley Center. Itwill feature music entertainment and dance performances by local and out-of-town groups, as well as cultural displays, dancing, vendors, information tables, children activities, and ethnic refreshments. 

Ballet Western Reserve and YSU Jazz Ensemble: The Nutcracker

YSU Department of Theater & Dance: Dance Ensemble in Concert

YSU Department of Theater & Dance presents the YSU Dance Ensemble in Concert, on Thursday, February 28, Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 pm, in Bliss Hall's Ford Theater, on the YSU campus.  This concert will showcase student choreographers and performers in a variety of genres from Ballet and Modern to Tap and Jazz.
