WYSU Media Sponsor; Youngstown Area Jewish Film Festival

WYSU is proud to be a Media Sponsor for the Youngstown Area Jewish Film Festival, featuring six films running from Sunday, October 6th through Tuesday, October 29th. [The festival will begin with BESA: The Promise on Sunday, October 6th, followed by the movie, The Other Son, on Tuesday, October 8th. On Monday, October 14th, Hava Nagila, The Movie, and on Thursday, October 17th, Fill The Void will be shown.

YSU Theater; Celebrating 50 Years Of University Theater - A Commemoration

Youngstown State University Theater presents A Musical Commemoration: Celebrating 50 Years Of University Theater, running from Friday, November 8th through Sunday, November 17th in Ford Theater in Bliss Hall, on the campus of YSU. Evening performances begin at 7:30 P.M. and the Sunday matinees are at 2 P.M. As part of the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, the Youngstown State University Diversity And Multicultural Affairs Office and OCCHA present the 41st Annual Gala Event on Friday, November 1st at 5:30 P.M. at the Georgetown Banquet Hall (5945 South Avenue) in Boardman.
