Polish Arts Club of Youngstown: 83rd Annual Scholarship, Art, Music & Tea Reception

The Polish Arts Club of Youngstown presents its 83rd Annual Scholarship, Art, Music & Tea Reception, on Sunday, February 10, 1:00 – 4:00 PM, at The Butler Institute of American Art, on Wick Avenue, in Youngstown. The afternoon will include the scholarship awards ceremony, a historical introduction to Polish Composer Stanisław Moniuszko by Dr. Ewelina Boczkowska, YSU Associate Professor of Music History, and a musical performance of the composer’s work by Cleveland pianist and violinist Konrad Binienda and Konrad Kowal. This annual event is free and open to the public.

YSU Black History Month and YSU Department of Art present an artist lecture by Justin Coleman, 0n Monday, February 4th, at 5:00 pm, at the McDonough Museum of Art, on the YSU campus. Justin Coleman is Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Denison University, and a practicing artist working in sculpture and ceramics.
