WYSU is co-sponsor a reading by poet Teri Ellen Cross Davis and novelist Bonnie Proudfoot, Friday, October 8 at 7:00 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, on Wick Avenue in Youngstown. The reading, free and open to the public, is part of Lit Youngstown’s Fall Literary Festival. More information at LitYoungstown.org.

  [The evening opens the evening with a reading by Cleveland playwright Mike Geither at 5:00, followed by jazz in the sanctuary and a dinner in the Great Hall, then the reading, which will include scholarship winner Jennifer Sperry Steinorth of Michigan.]       [Teri Ellen Cross Davis is the author of a more perfect Union, winner of the Journal/Charles B. Wheeler Poetry Prize and Haint, winner of the 2017 Ohioana Book Award for Poetry. She is the Poetry Coordinator for the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C.  Bonnie Proudfoot's debut novel Goshen Road was long listed for the 2021 PEN/Hemingway award and selected by the Women’s National Book Association as one of their Great Group Reads for 2020. She lives in Athens, Ohio, and teaches writing at Hocking College.]
