The Rude Mechanicals Theatre Company: Open, One-Woman Show

The Rude Mechanicals Theatre Company will present the acclaimed one-woman show, Open, by Crystal Skillman.  Open is at The Calvin Center for the Art, on Mahoning Avenue, in Youngstown, weekend evenings,  Saturday, November 5 through Sunday, November 13, at  8 pm.  It stars Jenna Cintavey, and is directed by J. Tanglewood Marionettes presents "Perseus and Medusa"

YSU’s Cliffe College of Creative Arts Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series has added a free school-day performance of Tanglewood Marionettes production of "Perseus and Medusa" on Friday, October 8 at 10:00 am. in Bliss Hall's Ford Theater at Youngstown State University.  The show, which is appropriate for all ages and lasts about one hour, takes patrons back in time to the dawn of civilization, to an ancient world of gods, goddesses, prophecies and heroes.  Tickets are free, but reservations must be made by calling the University Theatre Box Office at 330-941-3105.

Get your story ready!  Spoken Threads Storytelling, presented by THE HUB, is hosting a community storytelling event on Thursday, October 7th at 6:00 pm.  Spooky Stories is the theme.  Come to share a true to you spooky story at the open mic or just come to listen.  All ages welcome.  Refreshments will be served.  Free.
