The Skeggs Lecture Series and the YSU Department of Theatre & Dance present a lecture by actor/director Bryan Terrell Clark, on Wednesday, January 29, at 3 pm, in Bliss Hall's Ford Theater, on the YSU campus. Dragonhold Fantasy Festival: The Goblin King's Ball

The historic Beehive Coke Ovens Park in Leetonia will be transformed into a fantasy land filled with adventure and fun for all ages, on October 12, noon - 8: pm. This year's theme is The Goblin King's Ball, featuring goblins, orcs, and other fantasy creatures that will cause mayhem throughout the day! There will be a Masquerade Ball at 6 pm. YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium: Wizard Weekend

In collaboration with YSU's Room of Requirement, the YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium presents a magical weekend celebrating all things Harry Potter and in the J.K. Rowling universe! Learn about the night sky and how it relates to the wizarding world. Test your knowledge for a chance to earn house points. Who will win this year’s house cup?  Programs this evening at 7 and 8:30, tomorrow at noon, 2:30, 7 & 8:30. Seating is first-come, first seated.

Opera Western Reserve & the Soap Gallery: Witches Brew

Opera Western Reserve presents Witches Brew, on Friday, October 25, 6 - 10 pm, at the SOAP Gallery, in downtown Youngstown.  It will be an evening of musical selections highlighting Verdi's opera Macbeth, readings from Shakespeare, heavy appetizers, and cash bar. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door and can be purchased through the Opera Western Reserve office at330.480.0693 or at the SOAP Gallery online. Warren Philharmonic and Opera Western Reserve: Magic Spells!

The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra presents the concert "Magic Spells!, on Sunday, October 6, at 3 pm, at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Avenue NW, in Warren.   The concert features a magic spell gone awry, a tale from Arabian Nights, singing witches, and more.  This event is a part of Opera Western Reserve's Murder, Mayhem & Macbeth fest.

The YSU Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series presents the National Marionette Theatre’s performance of Pinocchio, on Saturday, October 12, at 11 am and 2 pm, in Ford Theater in Bliss Hall, on the YSU campus. YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium: Celestial Mythology
