The YSU Alumni and Friends Virtual Book Club will discuss Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson as its July selection, on Tuesday, June 28th, at 7 pm. The Business Journal and ProPublica: Digital Conversation

The Business Journal and ProPublica are sponsoring a digital conversation on the pros and cons of spending public money on private interests and possible paths to real economic renewal, on Wednesday, June 24, at 2 pm.  Recent investigations by The Business Journal and ProPublica examined the use of tax incentives in the Mahoning Valley, where officials hoped for an economic comeback. [Panelists will also answer questions during the event.] Register at propublica.org/ohio

 

 

YSU Department of Theatre & Dance and Dana School of Music: Voices of Color in Song

YSU's Department of Theatre & Dance and the Dana School of Music will host a virtual Juneteenth Celebration this evening at 7 pm, on the videoconferencing platform Zoom. Voices of Color in Song is a virtual open mic celebration hosted by Jaron M. LeGrair, YSU Adjunct Professor and Director of the YSU Gospel Choir. Stambaugh Chorus: 2016 Spring Concert on Zoom

YSU Part Time Faculty Association: Rally to Support YSU Part Time Faculty

The YSU Part Time Faculty Association is sponsoring a Rally to Support YSU Part Time Faculty, on Thursday, March 12th, at 7 pm, at St Johns Episcopal Church, on Wick Avenue, in Youngstown.  The Rally includes a lecture and a discussion.
