Illuminare Choral Ensemble: I Was Glad, a concert of awe -inspiring choral music
The Illuminare Choral Ensemble presents I Was Glad, a concert of awe-inspiring sacred choral music, on Saturday, November 30, at 7:30 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, on Elm Street. Music director Jon Simsic leads this ensemble that is composed of singers drawn from the greater Youngstown area. The a cappella program will feature chant as well as compositions by Orlando De Lassus, Thomas Tallis, Anton Bruckner, and others.
