The Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series and the Dana School of Music are staging Mozart’s opera Cosi fan tutteApril 22 through the 24. The opera is sung in Italian with supertitles in English. In English the title of the opera is usually translated as "Women are Like That." Written by Mozart in 1790, it is a comic tale of love and faithfulness set to the tunes of Mozart’s beautiful music. Three performances will take place in the Ford Theater in Bliss Hall.

On Monday, February 22, the staffs of WYSU and the YSU Foundation, new neighbors in Melnick Hall, hosted an open house to show off the new location.
It is something to be celebrated as it is the first time in WYSU’s 46 year history that a space has been designated and designed specifically to house a public radio station. The open drew hundreds of people to both the WYSU and YSU Foundation offices, including a member of the Melnick family. See additional pictures on our Facebook page.

Once again, WYSU will broadcast this special programming that reflects both the spiritual and secular side of the holiday season. We will feature many Christmas favorites, such as A Festival of Nine Lessons, and Carols, A St. Olaf Christmas, and A Chanticleer Christmas, as well as highlight a celebration of Chanukah.
