YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Ohio’s unemployment rate in April was down nearly half a percentage point from the month before, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services reported this morning, providing political fodder for both political parties.
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A total of 8,970 entities filed to do business in the Buckeye State in April, the office of Ohio secretary of state reported Thursday. This marks an increase over April 2013, when 8,539 filings were recorded.
WASHINGTON -- A newly released report shows up to 583,000 American steel-related jobs -- including 33,900 jobs in Ohio in communities such as Youngstown, Warren, Niles and Brookfield -- could be at risk if the United States doesn’t fully enforce trade laws.
