Youngstown Symphony Serendades on Sunday Afternoon

New this season and in the tradition of chamber music, the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra has added a Sunday afternoon concert to the schedule.  The YSO will perform "Sunday Serendade" in the more intimate setting of Ford Family Recital Hall at the DeYor Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 25, at 3 p.m.  The program includes Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik  and  Serendades of Dvorak, Elgar and Tchaikovsky. Pittsburgh Symphony Celebrates Art and Music in New Castle

Music can inspire art, art can inspire music, and both inspire a stunning performance by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on May 20 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle. Along with the Hoyt Center for the Arts, the Symphony will present The Art of Music, a special celebration of music and art led by resident conductor Fawzi Haimor which includes pieces by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and more.

An Evening with Maurice LoMonaco September 21

Maurice LoMonaco, a classically influenced Sicilian singer/songwriter, will perform a concert Sunday, September 21, at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in downtown Youngstown. The concert is sponsored by the Italian Scholarship League and will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Ford Family Recital Hall. 

PSO to Present Valentine's Pops Concert in New Castle

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will present "Love is in the Air - A Valentine's Pops Celebration" at New Castle's Scottish Rite Cathedral on Saturday, February 15th at 8 p.m.The concert will feature Fawzi Haimor, conductor; Melissa Errico, vocalist; and Ryan Silverman, vocalist. It will be a night of laughs, tears and most of all, romance!
