Ed Goist, a Youngstown native, has been in the development department of WYSU-FM since February of 2005. Ed received his BA degree in Philosophy from YSU in 1982. His professional background includes extensive experience in the areas of non-profit fundraising, direct sales, and sales management. Ed is very active in the community, having served on the Board of Trustees for: The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown (past president), The Mahoning River Consortium (past chairman), The Youngstown Opera Guild, and The Oakland Center for the Arts. While not seeking public support for WYSU, Ed enjoys horticulture, cooking, reading, playing his mandolins, and spending time with his wife Laura and three children: Mindy, Dan, & Robin.
