The Family Fun Walk will consist of a two-mile walk, games, food, music and free information addressing the issues of poverty specifically in Trumbull County. Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning County is holding its 15th annual Home Run 5K/2k Fun Walk on Saturday, November 1, at 9:00 am, at Holy Family Church in Poland, Ohio. Preregistration is $15 through October 31. Race Day registration is $18. The kids' Race is free for children ten and under. The Mahoning Valley Historical Society presents an after-work walking tour of Downtown Youngstown, on Thursday, September 11. The event is part of the Young Leaders History-To-Go Series and will begin at 5:30 pm at the Erie Terminal building on Westt Commerce Street, with a brief tour of that recently restored property.
