The Friends of Fellow Riverside Gardens: Family Fun Friday

The Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens is celebrating National Public Gardens Day with the Spring Plant Sale on Friday from 10:00 to 6:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00, and with Family Fun Friday in the Family Garden from 11:00-1:00. The Garden Café is also open. More at 330 740-7116.

Hubbard Public Library: Biking the Greenway

The Hubbard Public Library is presenting an information session on the 2015 World of Wildlife Bike Tour, on Saturday, May 16th, at 1:30 pm. 3rd Annual Columbiana Wine Festival

The Columbiana Board of Tourism is presenting the 3rd Annual Columbiana Wine Festival, on Saturday, June 27th, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Sunday, June 28th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event features 6 local wineries, live music, artisans and food, with an amateur wine makers competition featuring raffles and prizes. The event is 21+ with no pets or children allowed. Mill Creek MetroParks Winter Nights

Mill Creek MetroParks presents Winter Nights at Fellows Riverside Gardens and the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center. This year's Winter Nights features the outdoor Gardens with an expanded light display. It is open one more night, Sunday, December 28, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Winter Celebration: The Gingerbread Garden

Mill Creek MetroParks Fellows Riverside Gardens presents Winter Celebration: The Gingerbread Garden at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center. This year's Winter Celebration features a floral display; Gingerbread Lane; Delphinium’s Gingerbread Shoppe, and a Holiday tree display.  It is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, through Sunday, January 4.

 

Boardman's18th Annual Community Christmas

Boardman's 18th Annual Community Christmas Celebration is scheduled for December 7th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Tree decoration begins at 4:00,  Santa arrives by firetruck at 4:30, and music and caroling starts at4:45 in the St. James Meeting House.  Tree reservations can be made at the Park office at 330-726-8105 or at angela@boardmanpark.com.

Pumpkin Carve-out Contest RUNS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10TH, 6:00 TO 9:00 PM; SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, NOON TO 9:00 PM AND SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, NOON TO 5:00 PM.    There is a small fee for the pumpkins. prizes will be awarded in different age categories from children to adults.
