The Harvey S. Firestone Park Festival of the Arts will be held held Saturday, August 6, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, at Firestone Recreation Park in Columbiana. The United Eastern Lenape (leh-NAH-pi) Nation is proud to present their 8th annual Healing Mother Earth Native American Powwow, Friday. August 5 through Sunday, August 7, at Fischer’s Pine Lake, 3796 Maple Road, in Jefferson, Ohio. The Powwow includes dancing, drums, native crafts, vendors, and storytelling. The Grand Entry is at noon each day, the Flags Retreat is at 6:00 pm. Drums and Dancers are welcome to participate.

The St. Nicholas Greek Summerfest takes place on Thursday, July 7, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; Friday& Saturday July 8 & 9, 11:00 am - 11:00 pm; and Sunday, July 10, noon - 6:00 pm. The Summerfest includes live music and dancing, Greek food and pastries, and a display of cultural memorabilia, at 220 N. Walnut Street, in Youngstown.

The 18th-annual YSU Summer Festival of the Arts is on Saturday,July 9th & Sunday, July 10th at and around YSU. There is a juried arts fest that features the work of over 75 artists. There will also be dozens of performances, and participation from arts, culture and creative groups. The Festival is part of a larger weekend of events including the Youngstown Wine and Jazz event, St. Nicholas Greek Summerfest, and the 2k16 gospel fest.
