Westminster Presbyterian Church: A Tribute to Our Heroes Concert

The Westminster Presbyterian Church presents the concert "A Tribute to Our Heroes," on Sunday, November 13, at 3:00 pm, at the church, 118 Stadium Drive, in Boardman. Featured perforrmers are trumpeter Susan Sexton and organist Kathy Miller. The concert is part of a series showcasing the newly installed Chapel organ.

Youngstown State University's Division of Multicultural Affairs presents "Murphy Meets Motown," featuring Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., 2011 Winner of America's Got Talent; and Leonard, Coleman & Blunt (former lead vocalists of the Temptations, Platters, and Drifters respectively). Artists of the Mahoning Commons: Holiday Open Studio

Artists of the Mahoning Commons presents its Holiday Open Studio in the Ward Bakery Building, 1024 Mahoning Avenue. across from U-Haul, on Saturday and Sunday, November 19 & 20, and November 26 & 27, noon to 5:00 each day. The Open Studio features Jewelry, silks, paintings, ceramics, furniture and much more! Area artists will have their working studio spaces open for your viewing pleasure. Youngstown Jewish Community Center: The Great Israeli-American Songbook Concert

Lakeside Society for the Performing Arts and Ashtabula Area City Schools: The 1925 Silent Film "The Phantom of the Opera" with theatre organ.

The 1925 silent film "The Phantom of the Opera" will be shown at Lakeside Performing Arts Center, Ashtabula Area City Schools, 6600 Sanborn Road, in Ashtabula, on Sunday, October 30th at 4:00 pm. Renowned theater organist David Wickerham with be playing the 1921 Kimball Theatre Organ located in the Arts Center, The event is sponsored by The Lakeside Society for the Performing Arts and Ashtabula Area City Schools.
