St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church: Greek Summerfest

The St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church annual Greek Summerfest takes place on Thursday, July 9, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; Friday, July 10 & Saturday, July 11, 11:00 am - 10:00 pm; and Sunday, July 12, Noon - 6:00 pm. The Greek Summerfest features Greek music, and lamb and chicken dinners all four days, fish dinners on Friday only, and much more.

Youngstown Downtown JazzFest

The Downtown JazzFest in downtown Youngstown features saxophonist Paul Taylor on Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Covelli Centre Box Office, or at Giant Eagle Ticketmaster Outlets - $8 in advance and $10 day of show. The show will be held rain or shine.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church: Jazz Concert

The Buzz Cronquist Swingtet will perform a jazz concert, improvising on mainly Broadway show tunes, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in downtown Ashtabula, on Friday, July 24, at 7:00 pm, as part of the Church’s “Great Music Without Barriers” Concert Series. Big Bands on the Beach Summer Concert

The City of Ashtabula presents the Big Bands on the Beach Summer Concert Series at the Walnut Beach Concession Stand area in Ashtabula, on Sunday, July 5, 4:00 - 6:00 pm, featuring the Don Disantis Band with saxophonis Ed Michaels, performing Big Band tunes from the 1930s and '40s. It is free and open to the public.

Summer Festival of the Arts 2015

Youngstown State University presents its annual Summer Festival of the Arts on Saturday, July 11th from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, July 12th from 11 am to 5 pm. This event features a showcase of art works in all media by local and regional artists in the Artists' Marketplace, craft making at a Children's Hands On Art Tent, the Festival of Nations, food, and live musical entertainment. Simply Slavic Festival

The SIMPLY SLAVIC  FESTIVAL takes place on Saturday, June 20th, from noon to midnight in Downtown Youngstown.  Festival highlights include live music and dance performances, homemade food, children’s activities, Slavic story telling and a bonfire.  More information at Simply Slavic dot com.

WaterFire Sharon PA

WaterFire Sharon PA is a unique arts and culture festival that occurs three times a year along the Shenango River in beautiful downtown Sharon. The two remaining event days of 2015 are August 22 and September 26. Each day-long event offers music, food, fine artisans, craft vendors, family activities, and interactive art experiences.
