Covach has published dozens of articles on topics dealing with popular music, twelve-tone music, and the philosophy and aesthetics of music.

O.C.C.H.A. Inc., the Hispanic American Civic and Cultural Organization will host its Fifth International Latino Food Festival from noon to 8:00 pm, on Saturday, July 23. The annual festival takes place at the O.C.C.H.A. Social Hall, 3660 Shirley Road, in Youngstown. Experience a taste of Hispanic cuisine through authentic handmade food delicacies, desserts, and beverages. Festival goers will be treated to traditional dances, musical performances, and a DJ throughout the day. A piñata, children’s activities, and raffles will also be featured. The United Eastern Lenape (leh-NAH-pi) Nation is proud to present their 8th annual Healing Mother Earth Native American Powwow, Friday. August 5 through Sunday, August 7, at Fischer’s Pine Lake, 3796 Maple Road, in Jefferson, Ohio. The Powwow includes dancing, drums, native crafts, vendors, and storytelling.
