The exhibition features artworks by students currently enrolled in the Department of Art at YSU.

The McDonough Museum of Art presents the 80th Annual Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition, Friday, March 25 through Friday, April 8 . McDonough Museum of Art: Lecture by Dana Sperry

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the McDonough Museum of Art, on the YSU campus, through February 26. Several artists have given lectures throughout the run of the exhibition. On Tuesday, February 23 at 5:00 pm, Dana Sperry, currently Associate Professor and Digital Media coordinator will present a lecture in the Museum's Auditorium. Sperry will be talking about a series of video and coded-based generative artworks that explore themes of isolation and anxiety of contemporary life.

McDonough Museum of Art: Lecture by RJ Thompson

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the McDonough Museum of Art, on the YSU campus, through February 26. Several artists will be giving lectures throughout the run of the exhibition. On Thursday, February 11 at noon, RJ Thompson, a practicing graphic designer, graphic design educator, and entrepreneur currently teaching graphic, web, and interactive design at YSU, will give a lecture entitled “The City of You: Rebranding Youngstown, Ohio,” in the Museum Galleries.

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the McDonough Museum of Art, on the YSU campus, through February 26. Several artists will be giving lectures throughout the run of the exhibition. On Wednesday, February 3 at 1:30 pm, Dr. Lillian Lewis will present a lecture, ““Commodity, Culture, and Collaboration,” at the McDonough Museum of Art Galleries. Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Art Education at YSU.

McDonough Museum of Art: Lecture by Lauren Baker

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the McDonough Museum of Art through February 26. Several artists will be giving lectures throughout the run of the exhibition. On Tuesday, February 2 at 5:00 pm, Lauren Baker will present a lecture in the McDonough Museum of Art Auditorium, on the YSU campus. Baker currently lives in Massillon, where she maintains her studio, and is an adjunct professor in the Department of Art at YSU.

McDonough Museum of Art: Lecture by Adam Sullivan

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the McDonough Museum of Art through February 26. Several artists will be giving lectures throughout the run of the exhibition. On Wednesday, January 27 at 12:30 pm, Adam Sullivan will present a lecture, “Taking Care” in the McDonough Museum of Art Galleries, on the YSU campus. He is an artist who works in paper, illustration, and painting.

"INTERSECTIONS," the Biennial Faculty Exhibition will be on display at the John J McDonough Museum of Art through February 26. "Intersections" is an exploration of innovation and tradition. This biennial exhibition of current research by Department of Art faculty, imparts new vision and re-investigates long standing practices in the fields of Art and Design. Museum Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Butler Institute of American Art: Illustrated Art Talk on Unraveling Abstraction

The Butler Institute of American Art presents an Illustrated Art Talk by Butler Director Lou Zona, on Sunday, February 21, at 2:00 pm, in the Beecher Center Auditorium, in the Butler.
