SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Government Contracting Assistance Center at Slippery Rock University will host a free seminar on securing contracts with the government for business owned by veterns and veterans disabled while in the service at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14 in the Veterans Administration Butler Healthcare in Butler.
Representatives from federal, state and local government agencies will discuss their programs for businesses owned by veterans and provide information on how to pursue contracts, government regulations and opportunities.
A discussion what’s necessary to get started and insight from successful small businesses owned by veterans are on the agenda as well.
